Petrolatum Impregnated Dressing Vaseline® Strip 1 X 36 Inch Sterile
Protect wounds while being gentle on skin with the Vaseline petrolatum gauze strip. Fine, nonadhesive mesh material helps avoid pain and trauma when removing the dressing from the wound. The petrolatum gauze dressing is impregnated with a white petrolatum which is nontoxic, nonsensitizing and won't irritate the skin. The Vaseline stays moist for a long time for increased effectiveness. This nonadhesive dressing is flexible, to adapt to the contours of the body easily and cling effectively to the skin. White petrolatum promotes faster healing of minor wounds, burns and scrapes. This impregnated dressing won't bond to the wound, making it suitable for areas with raw skin, such as open wounds and burns. The material also forms a barrier against infections. The nonadhesive dressing promotes the evaporation of eventual secretions from the wound.
