These sterile foam dressings are hydrophilic to soak up exudate and fluids. At 4 x 4 inches, each foam dressing remains sterile before use to reduce the risk of infection or cross-contamination. The pores are small to limit tissue migration into the material. Nonadhesive, the soft foam dressings are easy to remove without disturbing the sensitive tissue of the wound bed. Their high absorbency extends their lifespan and allows for longer intervals between necessary dressing changes.
